Psalm 113

The music in these posts is entirely derived from the accents in the Hebrew Bible. Introductions - letters, music, text and music, and terminology, are here.

Psalms 113: Syllables: 136; Longest recitation: 12; Tenor: e 27.21%;
Ornament density: 9.8%; Average phrase length: 7.8. Performance by Esther Lamandier here.

This is one of the psalms that I set using the above musical phrases in Unleashing Leviathan, Day 3. It works as a chorale. See this video for a mechanical performance. Esther Lamandier's performance is from the 19th century Letteris edition of the Hebrew text and is beautiful, but the notes are not entirely in agreement with the above music.
