א למנצ֗ח מזמ֥ור לדוֽד 9

2 ♪g Happy the one giving insight to the weak.
In the day of evil Yahweh will let him escape. (g-1-4-1)
ב א֭שרי משכ֣יל אל־ד֑ל
בי֥ום ר֝ע֗ה יֽמלט֥הו יהוֽה

3 Yahweh will guard him and keep him alive, and he will be considered happy in the earth.
And you will not give him into the throat of his enemies. (1-4-1)
ג יהו֤ה ישמר֣הו וֽ֭יחיהו ואש֣ר בא֑רץ
ואֽל־ת֝תנ֗הו בנ֣פש איבֽיו

4 Yahweh will confirm him on a bed of melancholy.
All his lying down you change in his illness. (1-4-1)

5 I - I said, Yahweh be gracious to me.
Heal my being, for I have sinned against you. (1-4-1)
ה א‍ֽני־א֭מרתי יהו֣ה חנ֑ני
רפא֥ה נ֝פש֗י כי־חט֥אתי לֽך

6 My enemies promise evil for me:
When will he die and his name perish. (1-4-1)
ו אויב֗י יאמר֣ו ר֣ע ל֑י
מת֥י י֝מ֗ות ואב֥ד שמֽו

mtii imut vabd wmo
7 And if he comes to see he speaks vanity. His heart collects mischief to himself.
He goes out to the street, he speaks: (1-4-1)
ז ואם־ב֤א לרא֨ות ש֤וא ידב֗ר לב֗ו יקבץ־א֥ון ל֑ו
יצ֖א לח֣וץ ידבֽר

8 ♪~ Together above me they conjure, all those hating me.
Over me they devise evil for me. (~1-4-1)
ח י֗חד על֣י י֭תלחשו כל־שנא֑י
על֓י יחשב֖ו רע֣ה לֽי

9 A worthless word is infused in him,
and which he lies down in. He will not arise again. (1-4-1)
ט דֽבר־ב֭ליעל יצ֣וק ב֑ו
ואש֥ר ש֝כ֗ב לא־יוס֥יף לקֽום

T dbr-bliiyl ixuq bo
vawr wcb la-iosif lqum
10 Even a person with whom I was at peace, in whom I trusted, eating my bread,
has exaggerated a footstep against me. (1-4-1)
י גם־א֤יש שלומ֨י אשר־בט֣חתי ב֭ו אוכ֣ל לחמ֑י
הגד֖יל על֣י עקֽב

11 But you Yahweh, be gracious to me and raise me up,
and I will make peace to them. (1-4-1)
יא ואת֤ה יהו֗ה חנ֥ני והקימ֑ני
וֽאשלמ֥ה להֽם

12 In this I know, for you delight in me,
for my enemy does not raise a shout over me. (1-4-1)
יב בז֣את י֭דעתי כֽי־חפ֣צת ב֑י
כ֤י לֽא־יר֖יע איב֣י עלֽי

ci la-iriy aoibi ylii
13 But as for me, in my completeness you maintain me,
and you make me stand firm in your presence forever. (1-4-1)
יג ואנ֗י ב֭תמי תמ֣כת ב֑י
ותציב֖ני לפנ֣יך לעולֽם

14 ♪~ Bless Yahweh the God of Israel from the everlasting and unto the everlasting, Amen and Amen. (~1-1)
