2 Hear, O God, my voice in my pondering. From the dread of an enemy, preserve my life. (1-4-1) | |||
ב שמע־אלה֣ים קול֣י בשיח֑י מפ֥חד א֝וי֗ב תצ֥ר חיֽי |

3 ♪g You will hide me from the deliberations of those doing evil, from the throng of the workers of mischief, (g-1-4-1) | |||
ג ת֭סתירני מס֣וד מרע֑ים מ֝רגש֗ת פ֣עלי אֽון |

4 who whet their tongue as a sword. They direct their arrow a bitter word, (1-4-1) | |||

5 in secret to shoot at one who is complete. Suddenly they shoot and they do not fear. (1-4-1) | |||

h lirot bmstrim tm ptaom ioruhu vla iirau | |
6 They encourage themselves with a word of evil. They recount the buried traps. They say, Who will see them? (1-4-1) | |||
ו יחזקו־ל֨מו ד֘ב֤ר ר֗ע יֽ֭ספרו לטמ֣ון מוקש֑ים א֝מר֗ו מ֣י יראה־לֽמו |

v ikzqu-lmo dbr ry ispru lTmon moqwim amru mi irah-lmo | |
7 They plan injustice. They complete a master plan, of the inner person and inscrutable heart. (1-4-1) | |||
ז יֽחפֽשו עול֗ת ת֭מנו ח֣פש מחפ֑ש וק֥רב א֝֗יש ול֣ב עמֽק |

z ikpwu yolot tmnu kpw mkupw vqrb aiw vlb ymoq | |
8 But God is shooting at them an arrow suddenly, they become their defeat. (1-2-4-1) | |||
ח ויר֗ם אל֫ה֥ים ח֥ץ פתא֑ום ה֝י֗ו מכותֽם |

k viorm alohim kx ptaom hiu mcotm | |
9 And they will be tongue-tied. All who see them will flee. (1-4-1) | |||
ט ויכשיל֣והו על֣ימו לשונ֑ם י֝תנדד֗ו כל־ר֥אה בֽם |

T vicwiluhu ylimo lwonm itnoddu cl-roah bm | |
10 And every human will fear, and will announce the work of God and from his doing they will have insight. (1-2-1) | |||
י ויֽירא֗ו כל־א֫ד֥ם ו֭יגידו פ֥על אלה֗ים וֽמעש֥הו השכֽילו |

i viirau cl-adm vigidu poyl alohim umywhu hwcilu | |
11 The righteous one will be glad in Yahweh and will take refuge in him, and all the upright of heart will boast. (1-4-1) | |||
יא ישמ֬ח צד֣יק ב֭יהוה וח֣סה ב֑ו ו֝יתהֽלל֗ו כל־ישרי־לֽב |
