Psalm 57

The music in these posts is entirely derived from the accents in the Hebrew Bible. Introductions - letters, music, text and music, and terminology, are here.

Psalms 57: Syllables: 260; Longest recitation: 11; Tenor: B 23.85%;
Ornament density: 10.5%; Average phrase length: 9.8. Performance here.
The performance by Esther Lamandier mostly uses the strange tone. She very successfully negotiates what I consider awkward intervals. She occasionally uses an A without the sharp. And of course she is using the Letteris edition that has some different accents including spurious metegs. Nonetheless, definitely worth the listen.
