2 Unless Yahweh had been for us, when humanity arose over us, (1-4-1)
ב לול֣י י֭הוה שה֣יה ל֑נו בק֖ום על֣ינו אדֽם	9 7		b luli ihvh whih lnu bqum ylinu adm
3 ♪g then they had swallowed us alive, when their anger burned against us. (g-1-4-1)
ג א֭זי חי֣ים בלע֑ונו בחר֖ות אפ֣ם בֽנו	8 7		g azi kiim blyunu bkrot apm bnu
4 ♪g Then the waters had overflowed us, a torrent would have passed through over us. (g-1-4-1)
ד א֭זי המ֣ים שטפ֑ונו נ֝חל֗ה עב֥ר על־נפשֽנו	8 8		d azi hmim wTpunu nklh ybr yl-npwnu
5 ♪g Then would have passed through over us, those presumptuous waters. (g-1-4-1)

6 Blessed is Yahweh, who has not given us as prey to their teeth. (1-4-1)
ו בר֥וך יהו֑ה של֥א נתנ֥נו ט֝֗רף לשניהֽם	4 12		v bruç ihvh wla ntnnu Trf lwinihm
7 Our being as a bird escaped from snare of trappers. The snare is broken and we ourselves have escaped. (1-2-1)
