1 Give thanks to Yahweh. Call in his name. Make known among the peoples his prodigality. (1-4-1)
א הוד֣ו ל֭יהוה קרא֣ו בשמ֑ו הוד֥יעו ב֝עמ֗ים עלילותֽיו	8 10		a hodu lihvh qrau bwmo hodiyu bymim ylilotiv
2 Sing to him. Sing a psalm to him. Ponder on all his wonders. (1-4-1)
ב שֽירו־ל֭ו זמרו־ל֑ו ש֝֗יחו בכל־נפלאותֽיו	4 8		b wiru-lo zmru-lo wiku bcl-nplaotiv
3 ♪g Praise in the name of his holiness. The heart of those who seek Yahweh will be glad. (g-1-4-1)
ג הֽ֭תהללו בש֣ם קדש֑ו י֝שמ֗ח ל֤ב מבקש֬י יהוֽה	7 8		g hthllu bwm qodwo iwmk lb mbqwi ihvh
4 Search out Yahweh and his strength. Seek his face continually. (1-4-1)
ד דרש֣ו יהו֣ה ועז֑ו בקש֖ו פנ֣יו תמֽיד	7 6		d drwu ihvh vyuzo bqwu pniv tmid
5 Remember his wonders which he did, his portents and the judgments of his mouth, (1-4-1)
ה זכר֗ו נפלאות֥יו אשר־עש֑ה מ֝פת֗יו ומשפטי־פֽיו	10 7		h zcru nplaotiv awr-ywh moptiv umwpTi-piv
6 ♪g O seed of Abraham his servant, children of Jacob his chosen. (g-1-4-1)
ו ז֭רע אברה֣ם עבד֑ו בנ֖י יעק֣ב בחירֽיו	7 8		v zry abrhm ybdo bni iyqob bkiriv
7 ♪g He is Yahweh our God. In all the earth are his judgments. (g-1-4-1)
ז ה֭וא יהו֣ה אלה֑ינו בכל־ה֝א֗רץ משפטֽיו	7 8		z hua ihvh alohinu bcl-harx mwpTiv
8 He remembers forever his covenant, the word he commanded to a thousand generations, (1-4-1)
ח זכ֣ר לעול֣ם ברית֑ו דב֥ר צ֝ו֗ה לא֣לף דֽור	8 8		k zcr lyolm brito dbr xivvh lalf dor
9 which he cut with Abraham, and his oath to Isaac, (1-4-1)
ט אש֣ר כ֭רת את־אברה֑ם ושב֖ועת֣ו לישחֽק	8 7		T awr crt at-abrhm uwbuyto liwkq
10 and stood by it to Jacob as a statute, for Israel, a covenant ever, (1-4-1)
י ויֽעמיד֣ה ליעק֣ב לח֑ק ל֝ישרא֗ל בר֣ית עולֽם	12 8		i viymidha liyqob lkoq liwral brit yolm
11 saying, To you I will give the land of Canaan, the pledge of your inheritance, (1-4-1)
יא לאמ֗ר לך֗ את֥ן את־אֽרץ־כנ֑ען ח֝֗בל נחלתכֽם	12 6		ia lamor lç atn at-arx-cnyn kbl nkltcm
12 ♪g when they themselves were men counted, as few and guests in it, (g-1-4-1)
יב בֽ֭היותם מת֣י מספ֑ר כ֝מע֗ט וגר֥ים בֽה	7 6		ib bhiotm mti mspr cmyT vgrim bh
13 ♪g and they were meandering from nation to nation, from a kingdom to another people. (g-1-4-1)
יג וֽ֭יתהלכו מג֣וי אל־ג֑וי מ֝ממלכ֗ה אל־ע֥ם אחֽר	10 8		ig vithlcu mgoi al-goi mmmlch al-ym akr
14 He did not allow any human to oppress them, and he reproved kings over them. (1-4-1)
יד לֽא־הנ֣יח אד֣ם לעשק֑ם וי֖וכח עליה֣ם מלכֽים	8 9		id la-hnik adm lyowqm viock ylihm mlcim
15 Do not touch my anointed, and to my prophets do no evil. (1-4-1)
טו אֽל־תגע֥ו במשיח֑י ו֝לנביאי אל־תרֽעו	6 8		Tv al-tigyu bmwikii vlnbiaii al-tryu
16 And he called famine over the land. The whole branch of bread he broke. (1-4-1)
טז ויקר֣א ר֭עב על־הא֑רץ כֽל־מטה־ל֥חם שבֽר	9 7		Tz viqra ryb yl-harx cl-mTh-lkm wbr
17 He sent one such before their faces, as a servant he was sold, Joseph. (1-4-1)
יז של֣ח לפניה֣ם א֑יש ל֝ע֗בד נמכ֥ר יוסֽף	6 7		iz wlk lpnihm aiw lybd nmcr iosf
18 They afflicted with fetters his feet. Iron came to his throat. (1-4-1)
יח ענ֣ו בכ֣בל רגל֑ו ב֝רז֗ל ב֣אה נפשֽו	7 6		ik yinu bcbl rglo brzl bah npwo
19 Until the time his word came, the promise of Yahweh refined him. (1-4-1)
יט עד־ע֥ת בא־דבר֑ו אמר֖ת יהו֣ה צרפֽתהו	6 8		iT yd-yt boa-dbro amrt ihvh xrpthu
20 ♪B A king sent and released him. A governor of peoples opened the way for him. (B-1-4-1)
כ ש֣לח מ֭לך ויתיר֑הו מש֥ל ע֝מ֗ים וֽיפתחֽהו	9 8		c wlk mlç vitirhu mowl ymim viptkhu
21 He set him up as lord of his house, and governor over all his acquisitions, (1-4-1)
כא שמ֣ו אד֣ון לבית֑ו ו֝מש֗ל בכל־קנינֽו	7 8		ca wmo adon lbito umowl bcl-qniino
22 to bind his nobles by his integrity, and his elders make wise. (1-4-1)
כב לאס֣ר שר֣יו בנפש֑ו וזקנ֥יו יחכֽם	7 6		cb lasor wriv bnpwo uzqniv ikcm
23 And Israel came to Egypt, and Jacob was guest in the land of Ham. (1-4-1)
כג ויב֣א ישרא֣ל מצר֑ים ו֝יעק֗ב ג֣ר באֽרץ־חֽם	9 9		cg viboa iwral mxriim viyqob gr barx-km
24 And he made his people very fruitful, and he made him more numerous than his foe. (1-4-1)

25 He changed their heart to hate his people, to be cunning with his servants. (1-4-1)

26 ♪g He sent Moses his servant, Aaron whom he chose with him. (g-1-4-1)

27 They set up among them the words of his signs, and portents in the land of Ham. (1-4-1)

28 ♪B He sent darkness and made it dark, and they were not provoked at his word. (B-1-4-1)

29 He changed their waters to blood, and put to death their fish. (1-4-1)

30 Teemed their land with frogs, in the rooms of their kings. (1-4-1)

31 ♪g He promised and there came a swarm of flies, gnats in all their borders. (g-1-4-1)
לא א֭מר ויב֣א ער֑ב כ֝נ֗ים בכל־גבולֽם	7 7		la amr viboa yrob cinim bcl-gbulm
32 He gave their showers as hail, fire of flames in their land. (1-4-1)
לב נת֣ן גשמיה֣ם בר֑ד א֖ש להב֣ות בארצֽם	7 7		lb ntn gwmihm brd aw lhbot barxm
33 And he struck their vine and their fig trees, and broke the tree of their border. (1-4-1)
לג וי֣ך ג֭פנם ותאנת֑ם ו֝ישב֗ר ע֣ץ גבולֽם	8 7		lg viç gpnm utantm viwbr yx gbulm
34 ♪g He promised and there came locust, and cankerworm and that beyond counting. (g-1-4-1)
לד א֭מר ויב֣א ארב֑ה ו֝י֗לק וא֣ין מספֽר	7 7		ld amr viboa arbh vilq vain mspr
35 And they ate all the herbs in their land, and they ate the fruit of their ground. (1-4-1)
לה וי֣אכל כל־ע֣שב בארצ֑ם ו֝י֗אכל פר֣י אדמתֽם	9 8		lh viacl cl-ywb barxm viacl pri admtm
36 And he struck all the firstborn in their land, the head of all their vigour. (1-4-1)
לו וי֣ך כל־בכ֣ור בארצ֑ם ר֝אש֗ית לכל־אונֽם	8 6		lv viç cl-bcor barxm rawit lcl-aonm
37 ♪g And he brought them out with silver and gold, and there was none under his sceptres who stumbled. (g-1-4-1)
לז וֽ֭יוציאם בכ֣סף וזה֑ב וא֖ין בשבט֣יו כושֽל	10 7		lz vioxiam bcsf vzhb vain bwbTiv cowl
38 Egypt was glad at their going out, for their dread fell on them. (1-4-1)
לח שמ֣ח מצר֣ים בצאת֑ם כֽי־נפ֖ל פחד֣ם עליהֽם	7 7		lk wmk mxriim bxatm ci-npl pkdm ylihm
39 He spread a cloud as screen, and fire to light the night. (1-4-1)
לט פר֣ש ענ֣ן למס֑ך ו֝א֗ש להא֥יר לֽילה	7 7		lT prw ynn lmsç vaw lhair lilh
40 Asked and he summoned quail, and with the bread of heaven, he satisfied them. (1-4-1)
מ שא֣ל ויב֣א של֑ו ול֥חם ש֝מ֗ים ישביעֽם	7 8		m wal viba wliv vlkm wmiim iwbiym
41 ♪B He opened a rock and waters gushed out. They rushed into the arid places as a river. (B-1-4-1)

42 For he remembered his holy word, to Abraham his servant, (1-4-1)
מב כֽי־ז֭כר את־דב֣ר קדש֑ו אֽת־אברה֥ם עבדֽו	7 6		mb ci-zcr at-dbr qodwo at-abrhm ybdo
43 and he brought forth his people with joy, in shouting his chosen. (1-4-1)
מג ויוצ֣א עמ֣ו בשש֑ון ב֝רנ֗ה את־בחירֽיו	8 7		mg vioxia ymo bwwon brinh at-bkiriv
44 And he gave to them the lands of the nations, and the toil of the tribes they possessed. (1-4-1)
מד וית֣ן ל֭הם ארצ֣ות גוי֑ם ועמ֖ל לאמ֣ים יירֽשו	9 9		md viitn lhm arxot goiim vyml laumim iirwu
45 So that they would keep his statutes, and his instruction they would observe. Hallelu Yah. (1-1)
