1 ♪g A prayer of the poor when disabled, and before the face of Yahweh he pours out his pondering. (g-1-4-1)
א ת֭פלה לענ֣י כֽי־יעט֑ף ולפנ֥י י֝הו֗ה ישפ֥ך שיחֽו	9 9		a tpilh lyni ci-iyTof vlpni ihvh iwpoç wiko
2 ♪g Yahweh hear my prayer, and let my cry for help come to you. (g-1-4-1)
ב י֭הוה שמע֣ה תפלת֑י ו֝שועת֗י אל֥יך תבֽוא	8 9		b ihvh wmyh tpilti vwvvyti aliç tboa
3 Do not hide your face from me in the day of my trouble. Stretch to me your ear. In the day I call, swiftly answer me. (1-2-4-1)

4 For consumed with smoke are my days, and my bones as a burning mass are parched. (1-4-1)
ד כֽי־כל֣ו בעש֣ן ימ֑י ו֝עצמות֗י כמו־ק֥ד נחֽרו	7 10		d ci-clu bywn imii vyxmotii cmo-qd nikru
5 Stricken like field-grass and dried up is my heart, for I forget to eat my bread. (1-4-1)
ה הוכֽה־כ֭עשב ויב֣ש לב֑י כֽי־ש֝כ֗חתי מאכ֥ל לחמֽי	10 8		h huch-cywb viibw libi ci-wckti macol lkmi
6 From the voice of my sighing, my bones cling to my flesh. (1-4-1)
ו מק֥ול אנחת֑י דבק֥ה ע֝צמ֗י לבשרֽי	5 7		v mqol ankti dbqh yxmi lbwri
7 ♪g I am like an unclean bird of the wilderness. I have become like an owl of the desert. (g-1-4-1)
ז ד֭מיתי לקא֣ת מדב֑ר ה֝י֗יתי ככ֣וס חרבֽות	7 8		z dmiti lqat mdbr hiiti ccos korbot
8 I am alert and I become, as a bird isolated on a roof. (1-4-1)
ח שק֥דתי ואהי֑ה כ֝צפ֗ור בוד֥ד על־גֽג	6 7		k wqdti vahih cxipor bodd yl-gg
9 All the day long my enemies reproach me. Boasting against me, by me they swear. (1-4-1)
ט כל־ה֭יום חרפ֣וני אויב֑י מ֝הולל֗י ב֣י נשבֽעו	8 8		T cl-hiom kirpuni aoibii mhollii bi nwbyu
10 For I eat ashes as bread, and my drink with my weeping I mix, (1-4-1)
י כי־א֭פר כל֣חם אכ֑לתי ו֝שקו֗י בבכ֥י מסֽכתי	8 9		i ci-apr clkm aclti vwiquvii bbci mscti
11 from the face of your indignation and your rage, for you have lifted me up and cast me down. (1-4-1)
יא מפנֽי־זֽעמך֥ וקצפ֑ך כ֥י נ֝שאת֗ני ותשליכֽני	8 10		ia mpni-zymç vqxpç ci nwatni vtwlicni
12 ♪g My days stretch like a shadow, and I am like dried up field-grass. (g-1-4-1)
יב י֭מי כצ֣ל נט֑וי ו֝אנ֗י כע֥שב איבֽש	6 8		ib imii cxl nTui vani cywb aibw
13 But you Yahweh forever will sit, and your remembrance from generation to generation. (1-4-1)
יג ואת֣ה י֭הוה לעול֣ם תש֑ב ו֝זכרך֗ לד֣ר ודֽר	10 8		ig vath ihvh lyolm twb vzcrç ldor vdor
14 You yourself will arise. You will have compassion on Zion, for the time to be gracious to her, for the appointed time has come. (1-4-1)
יד את֣ה ת֭קום תרח֣ם צי֑ון כי־ע֥ת ל֝חֽננ֗ה כי־ב֥א מועֽד	9 8		id ath tqum trkm xion ci-yt lknnh ci-ba moyd
15 For your servants favour her stones, and her dust they grace. (1-4-1)
טו כֽי־רצ֣ו ע֭בדיך את־אבנ֑יה וֽאת־עפר֥ה יחנֽנו	11 9		Tv ci-rxu ybdiç at-abnih vat-yprh ikonnu
16 Nations will fear the name of Yahweh, and all the kings of the earth your glory. (1-4-1)
טז ויֽירא֣ו ג֭וים את־ש֣ם יהו֑ה וֽכל־מלכ֥י ה֝א֗רץ את־כבודֽך	9 12		Tz viirau goiim at-wm ihvh vcl-mlci harx at-cbodç
17 For Yahweh will build up Zion, and will appear in his glory. (1-4-1)
יז כֽי־בנ֣ה יהו֣ה צי֑ון נ֝רא֗ה בכבודֽו	6 5		iz ci-bnh ihvh xion nrah bcbodo
18 ♪g He will face the prayer of the one laid bare, and he will not despise their prayer. (g-1-4-1)
יח פ֭נה אל־תפל֣ת הערע֑ר ולא־ב֝ז֗ה את־תפלתֽם	9 8		ik pnh al-tpilt hyryr vla-bzh at-tpiltm
19 This will be written for a generation to follow, and a people to be created will praise Yah. (1-4-1)
יט תכ֣תב ז֭את לד֣ור אחר֑ון וע֥ם נ֝בר֗א יהלל־יֽה	9 8		iT tictb zat ldor akron vym nbra ihll-ih
20 For leaning over to look from his holiness on high, Yahweh from the heavens to earth took note, (1-4-1)
כ כֽי־ה֭שקיף ממר֣ום קדש֑ו י֝הו֗ה משמ֤ים אל־א֬רץ הבֽיט	7 10		c ci-hwqif mmrom qodwo ihvh mwmiim al-arx hbiT
21 ♪g to hear the groaning of the prisoner, to loose the children of death, (g-1-4-1)
כא ל֭שמע אנק֣ת אס֑יר ל֝פת֗ח בנ֣י תמותֽה	7 9		ca lwmoy anqt asir lptk bni tmuth
22 to recount in Zion the name of Yahweh, and his praise in Jerusalem, (1-4-1)
כב לספ֣ר ב֭ציון ש֣ם יהו֑ה ו֝תהלת֗ו בירושלֽם	9 8		cb lspr bxion wm ihvh uthilto biruwlim
23 to collect peoples together, and kingdoms to serve Yahweh. (1-4-1)
כג בהקב֣ץ עמ֣ים יחד֑ו ו֝ממלכ֗ות לעב֥ד את־יהוֽה	8 10		cg bhiqbx ymim ikdiv ummlcot lybod at-ihvh
24 He has afflicted in the way my power. He has harvested my days. (1-1)
כד ענ֖ה בד֥רך כח֗י קצ֥ר ימֽי	11		cd yinh bdrç coki qixr imii
25 I say, My God, do not make me ascend in the middle of my days. In the generation of generations are your years. (1-4-1)
כה אמ֗ר אל֗י אֽל ת֭עלני בחצ֣י ימ֑י בד֖ור דור֣ים שנותֽיך	14 8		ch aomr ali al tylni bkxi imii bdor dorim wnotiç
26 ♪g Before, the earth you founded, and the deed of your hands, the heavens. (g-1-4-1)
כו ל֭פנים הא֣רץ יס֑דת וֽמעש֖ה יד֣יך שמֽים	9 10		cv lpnim harx isdt umywh idiç wmiim
27 ♪C These will perish but you, you will stand, and they all like a garment will fade. As clothing you will renew them and they will be renewed. (C-1-2-4-1)

28 But you are he, and your years will not be completed. (1-4-1)
כח ואתה־ה֑וא ו֝שנות֗יך ל֣א יתֽמו	4 8		ck vath-hua uwnotiç la iitmu
29 The children of your servants will dwell here, and their seed before your face will be established. (1-4-1)
כט בנֽי־עבד֥יך ישכ֑ונו ו֝זרע֗ם לפנ֥יך יכֽון	8 9		cT bni-ybdiç iwconu vzrym lpniç iicon
