1 Give thanks to Yahweh for it is good,
for his kindness is forever, (1-4-1)

2 ♪g Let the redeemed of Yahweh say,

3 and from lands collected them,
from the sunrise and from the sunset

5 Hungry and even thirsty,

6 and they cry out to Yahweh in their trouble.
From their own distresses he delivers them. (1-4-1)

7 ♪g And he directs them in a way that is upright,
to walk to a city seat. (g-1-4-1)

11 for they were provocative of the promises of God,

12 and he will bring their heart to heel with toil.

18 Their beings will abhor all food,

20 He sent his word and healed them,

41 And he sets on high the needy out of poverty,

42 The upright see and are glad,

43 Who is wise and keeps these things?
