16 He made many stumble,
even to fall, each on his associate, and they said, Arise and let us return to our people, and to the land of our birth, in the face of a suppressing sword.
3e 4B 4
36
17 They call there,
Pharaoh the king of Egypt is noise. He has passed the best by date.
3e 4C 3
14
18 I, Living, an oracle of the king, Yahweh of hosts is his name,
for as Tabor is among the mountains and as Carmel is by the sea, so he will come.
3e 4C 14
14
19 Instruments of exile make for yourself, inhabitant of the daughter of Egypt,
for Noph will be desolated and charred, without inhabitant.
3e 4C 14
14
20 A calf of fairest beauty is Egypt. It winks.
From the north it comes, it comes.
3e 4A 9
7

21 Also her mercenaries are within her, like calves from a stall. For also themselves, they are faced about, withdrawing together, they did not stand.
For the day of their misfortune has come upon them, the time of their visitation.
3c 4C 26
13
22 Her voice like a snake will walk, for in force they will walk,
and with wedges will come to her as dressers of trees.
3e 4B 7
19
23 They will cut off her forest, an oracle of Yahweh, though it is not examined,
for they are multiplied like locusts and there is no count for them.
3e 4C 13
12
24 Put to shame is the daughter of Egypt.
She is given into the hand of the people of the north.
3e 4A 7
7
25 Yahweh of hosts, the God of Israel says, Note me well visiting Amon from No, and against Pharaoh, and against Egypt, and against her God, and against her kings,
and against Pharaoh, and against those who trust in him.
3e 4C 42
10
26 And give them into the hand of those who seek their cadaver, and into the hand of Nebukadretsar, king of Babel, and into the hand of his servants,
and after such, it will be a dwelling-place as in the days of antiquity, an oracle of Yahweh.
3d 4B 26
14
27 ~ But you, do not fear, my servant Jacob, and do not be in disarray, Israel, for note me well saving you from afar, and your seed from the land of their captivity.
So Jacob will return and be quiet, and be without a care, and none will be apprehensive.
3c 4C 38
17
28 ~ You are not to fear, O my servant, Jacob, an oracle of Yahweh, for I am with you.
For I will make a consuming end among all the nations where I have banished you, but of you I will not make a consuming end, but I will tutor you for judgment, and will not hold you innocent.
3c 4C 19
43
The final verses are very close to verses in chapter 30. The consuming end is the same stem (כלה) as bride, daughter-in-law, faint, finish. Without God, solitude is eternal.
