Isaiah 29

Isaiah remains more difficult than others. Sometimes the software makes no guess, sometimes only a single guess. Percentages of the remaining chapters are stubbornly around 30% guessed where remaining chapters of other books  are 10 to 20% higher.

Verse 10 has a strange use of עצם normally bones or numerous, but in this case something one does to eyes. Of course one can close them or blind them, but one would not need to use עצם for that action. So I thought of using bone as a verb. But staunch might just work. It is used by Isaiah in a similar sense in 33:15.

Isaiah 29 Fn Min Max Syll
1 C Alas, Ariel, Ariel, the town of the camp of David,
let them snatch, year in year out, let them strike festive sacrifices.

12
2 And I will distress Ariel.
And there will be opportunity and opportuning, and it will be to me as Ariel.

3 And I will encamp like a ball over you.
And I will lay siege to you with firmness, and I will raise up fortifications over you.
3e 4C 9
19
4 And you will be abased. From the earth you will speak, and from dust your promise will be depressed.
and your voice will be like a necromancer from the earth, and from dust your promise will peep.
3e 4C 20
20
5 And the tumult of your strangers will be as powder stamped out.
And as chaff passing through, the tumult of the ruthless. And it will happen suddenly. Suddenly.

17
6 From Yahweh of hosts you will be visited, with thunder and with quake, and a great voice,
storm-wind, and tempest, and the flame of a consuming fire.
3e 4C 20
12
7 And it will be as a dream, a vision by night, the tumult of all the nations, the hosts over Ariel,
and the whole of her estate, and her hunters, and those who distress her.
3e 4B 23
14
8 And it will be that as one who is hungry dreams, and behold it eats, but it awakens, and its cadaver is empty or as one who is thirsty dreams and behold, it imbibes, but it awakens, and behold, exhausted, but its cadaver is shiftless.
So will be the tumult of all the nations, the hosts on the hill of Zion.

9 Linger yourselves, and marvel, and reveling, revel.
They are intoxicated, but not with wine, wavering to and fro, but not with strong drink.

11
10 For Yahweh has spilled out over you a spirit of stupour and he has staunched your eyes, (the prophets),
and your heads (the visionaries) he has covered.
3d 4C 19
14
11 For the whole vision has become to you as the words of the sealed book that they give to one who knows correspondence, saying, Recite, if you will, this one.
And such says, I am not able for it is sealed.

12 And the book is given to one who does not know correspondence, saying, Recite, if you will, this one.
And such says, I do not know correspondence.

13 And my Lord said, Because this people come close with their mouth, and with their lips they glorify me, but their heart is distant from me,
and their fear of me is the commandment of mortals being taught,
3e 4C 32

14 So note me well adding wonderfully to this people, the wonder and wonderful.
And the shrewdness of their wise will perish, and the discernment of their discerning will be hidden.

15 d Alas the inscrutable things, from Yahweh to hide counsel.
And from darkness are their deeds, and they say, Who sees us? And who knows us?

16 ~ Your overturning, rather, as the clay of the potter will be reckoned,
for would what is made say to its maker, He did not make me? Or what is fashioned say to its fashioner, He has no discernment.

17 Is it not yet a little and somewhat close that Lebanon will be turned into a plantation?
And the plantation as forest be reckoned?

18 Then the deaf will hear in that day the words of the book,
and from gloom and from darkness, the eyes of the blind will see.

15

19 And the afflicted in Yahweh will add to gladness,
and the needy of humanity in the Holy One of Israel will rejoice.

14

and all vigilant for mischief will be cut off.

22 Therefore thus says Yahweh concerning the house of Jacob, who ransoms Abraham,
Not now will Jacob be ashamed and not now will his face pale.

23 B But when they see their successions, the deed of my hands near them, they will sanctify my name,
and sanctify the Holy One of Jacob, and of the God of Israel, they will be in panic.

22

24 And those who wandered in spirit will know discernment,
and those who nattered will learn tuition.

I think I have left verse 16 difficult to read. I have left the word order as for Hebrew. It is also in English subject, modifier, simile as adjectival clause, verb.
16הפככם your overturningהפך אם ratherאם כחמר as the clay ofחמר היצר the potterיצר יחשׁב will be reckonedחשׁב כי forכי יאמר would sayאמר מעשׂה what is madeעשׂה לעשׂהו to its makerעשׂה לא notלא עשׂני he did make meעשׂה ויצר or what is fashionedיצר אמר sayאמר ליוצרו to its fashionerיצר לא noלא הבין he has discernmentבין
This order keeps the music with English underlay with the Hebrew shape of the verse. I can't do it in some verses (like 20 where the word order is three repetitions of verb-subject.

Note that ruthless and panic are the same stem ערץ. I am not at liberty to use fear in verse 23.
