Genesis 15

It's an odd phrase in verse 4. The word did not come to him or happen to him, but we the reader are asked to take note. Not a bad instruction before going outside to ponder the stars.

אמן followed by ב with Yahweh occurs only 5 times. Here (v 6), 2 Kings 17:14, Exodus 14:31, 2 Chronicles 20:20, Deuteronomy 1:32.
Genesis 15 Fn Min Max Syll
1 After these things, it happened that Yahweh spoke to Abram in a vision to say,
Do not fear, Abram. I am your shield, your very abundant wage.
3e 4C 23
18
2 And Abram said, O Lord Yahweh, what do you give me and I am going childless?
And a child of the steward of my house, he is of Damascus, Eliezer.
3e 4C 23
14
3 And Abram said, Lo for me you have not given seed,
and behold, a child of my house will dispossess me.
3e 4B 13
10
4 And behold, the word of Yahweh to him, saying, This will not dispossess you,
but what goes out from your inner parts, he will dispossess you.
3e 4C 16
15
5 And he brought him forth outside, and he said, Take note, please, towards the heavens, and count the stars if you are able to count them.
And he said to him, Thus will be your seed.
3e 4B 31
10

And he reckoned it to him righteousness.
3e 4A 6
9

I am Yahweh who brought you forth from Ur of Chaldea to give to you this land to possess.

27

O Lord Yahweh, how will I know that I will possess it?
3e 4B 3
14
9 And he said to him, Take for me a calf of three years, and a she-goat of three years, and a ram of three years,
and a turtledove and a fledgling pigeon.

10 And he took him all these, and sectioned them in the midst, and positioned each section encountering its associate,
but the bird he did not section.
3e 4C 27
8
11 And the birds of prey descended on the carcasses,
but Abram dispatched them.

7
12 And the sun was cued to set and a trance fell on Abram,
and behold a horror of great darkness fell on him.

16
13 And he said to Abram, Knowing you will know that a guest your seed will be in a land not theirs, and will serve them, and they will afflict them,
four hundred years.
3e 4B 33
6
14 And moreover, the nation that they will serve, I will sentence,
and after such they will come forth with great property.
3c 4B 16
11

for the iniquity of the Amorite is not yet whole.

12
17 And it was when the sun was cued to set, and it was dusk,
and behold an oven smoking and a torch of fire that passed between those parts.
