2 Chronicles 24

There is no rest in verse 9. It is a long verse, but it is a reminder that in the support of the ultimate value, one has obligations that do not allow a rest until they are fulfilled. (Regardless of whether one can fulfill them - David in Psalm 132.)

Here's a place and word חרשׁ I should look at in detail. It appears that Hebrew has in this case fewer names for work related roles than English and also that when working, (plough, artifice, dress as in stones, smith) silence might be an attribute.

חרשׁ is a relatively frequent word. This is how I have glossed it so far:
related to silence: silent (20) deaf (11) kept silent (6) keep silence (5) silence (5) keeps silent (2) keep silent (3) kept silence (2) keeping silent (1) keeps silence (1) speechless (1) sultry (2)
(My English routine only does analysis on the whole string. It would be a lot of work to analyse strings in context and in this case reduce two words keep and silent to their lemma forms. So I haven't done it. It is not cost effective for this project at least at the moment.)
related to work roles: plough (22) artifice (11) carpenter (10) smith (7) dress (2) incise (2) edged tool (1) etch (1)
related to the natural world: wooded height (6) - this is somewhat unexpected but it is a source for raw material. I suspect the environment was somewhat different in David's time when he was hiding in such places (1 Samuel 22-23).

If I put all the instances together with their word forms, is there more than one separate word here? I did a cursory examination. There is too much detail without the context of each verse. This post would turn into a book.

2 Chronicles 24 Fn Min Max Syll
1 A child of seven years, Joash began to reign, and forty years he reigned in Jerusalem,
and the name of his mother was Zibiah from Beer-Sheva.
3e 4C 22
10
2 And Joash did what is upright in the eyes of Yahweh,
all the days of Jehoiada the priest.
3c 4B 13
10
3 And Jehoiada took for himself two wives,
and he had sons and daughters.
3e 4B 13
8
4 And it was after this,
Joash was with heart to renovate the house of Yahweh.
3e 4B 6
13
5 And he collected the priests and the Levites, and said to them, Go forth to the cities of Judah, and collect silver from all Israel, to revamp the house of your God, as often as year by year, and you move swiftly for the matter.
But the Levites were not swift.

8
6 So the king called Jehoiada, the head, and he said to him, For what purpose have you not searched out the Levites to bring from Judah and from Jerusalem the assumed liability of Moses, the servant of Yahweh, and the congregation of Israel,
for the tent of witness.
3e 4B 54
6
7 C For Ataliah, the wicked woman, her children breached the house of God,
and even all the holy things of the house of Yahweh, they made over for the Baalim.
3e 4C 20
13
8 And the king said that they should make one coffer,
and consign it in the gate of the house of Yahweh outside.
3d 4B 14
12
9 And they gave voice in Judah and in Jerusalem, to bring for Yahweh the assumed liability of Moses, the servant of God, upon Israel in the wilderness. 3c 4C 34
10 And all the nobility were glad, and all the people,
and they brought and they cast into the coffer until they finished.
3d 4A 12
15
11 And it happened at the time the coffer was brought to the officers of the king by the hand of the Levites, and when they saw that there was much silver, the secretary of the king and the officer of the head priest came and they upended the coffer, and bore it, and returned it to its place.
Thus they did day by day, and gathered silver in abundance.
3e 4C 64
14
12 And the king and Jehoiada gave it to those doing the lines of work of the service of the house of Yahweh, and they were hiring masons and carpenters to renovate the house of Yahweh,
and for artificers of iron and brass to revamp the house of Yahweh.
3e 4C 40
18
13 And those doing the lines of work constructed, and they improved longevity by the workmanship of their hands,
and they made the house of God stand concerning its stability, and made it sure.
3c 4B 21
19
14 And when they had finished, they brought before the king and Jehoiada the residue of the silver, and with it were made the vessels for the house of Yahweh, the vessels of ministry and the offerings and spoons and vessels of gold and silver.
And they were offering up burnt offerings in the house of Yahweh continually all the days of Jehoiada.
3e 4C 51
21
15 And Jehoiada aged and was sated of days and died,
a child of a hundred and thirty at his death.
3c 4A 15
11
16 And they entombed him in the city of David with the kings,
for he had done good in Israel, both with God and his household.
3e 4C 13
17
17 And after the death of Jehoiada, the nobility of Judah came and prostrated themselves to the king.
Then the king paid heed to them.
3d 4C 24
9
18 And they forsook the house of Yahweh, the God of their ancestors, and they served the fetishes and the idols,
and there was rage over Judah and Jerusalem in this their offense.
3e 4C 30
16
19 And he sent among them prophets to return them to Yahweh,
and they testified among them, but they did not give ear.
3e 4C 15
11
20 And the spirit of God clothed Zechariah, child of Jehoiada, the priest, and he stood over the people.
And he said to them, thus says God, Why will you bypass the commandments of Yahweh so you will not prosper? Because you have forsaken Yahweh, so he has forsaken you.
3e 4C 28
40
21 And they colluded against him and pelted him with stone by the commandment of the king,
in the court of the house of Yahweh.
3e 4B 19
6
22 So Joash the king did not remember the kindness that Jehoiada his father had done with him, and he slew his child.
And when he died, he said, Let Yahweh see and search out.
3e 4C 30
12
23 And it happened, in the energy of the year, the force of Aram came up against him, and they came to Judah and Jerusalem, and destroyed all the nobility of the people from the people,
and all their spoil they sent to the king of Damascus.
3d 4B 38
13
24 For with a small cohort, the force of the Aramaeans came, but Yahweh gave into their hands a force in much abundance, because they had forsaken Yahweh the God of their ancestors.
And with Joash, they undertook judgment.
3e 4B 38
9
25 And when they had gone from him, for they had forsaken him in much illness, his servants colluded against him by the blood of the children of Jehoiada the priest, and slew him on his couch, and he died.
And they entombed him in the city of David, but they did not entomb in the tombs of the kings.
3e 4B 49
21
26 And these are those who colluded against him,
Jozebad, child of Shimath the Ammonite, and Yhosabad, child of Shimrith the Moabite.
3e 4B 9
20
27 And his children and the increase of the load against him and the foundation of the house of God, behold they are written in the searching out of the record of the kings.
And Amaziah his son reigned in his stead.
