1 Chronicles 24

There is no end to the names we live with, personal, cultural, and geographic. They are a mixture of meanings and pointers. Identity is the first problem in the design of data, and we are data, and our names our identifiers. Verse 23 is missing a few words. But the accents divide them as I have shown.

I generally prefer Y to J (J would be pronounced as Y in any case) and X to H where the letter is ח, and Q to K for ק, but I have been quite inconsistent, often allowing the traditional transcriptions to stand because of familiarity.  A vowel at the beginning of a word generally indicates a guttural, so Y for י, but I or A or E or U for ע or א.
