Leviticus 5

I noted the use of join as in join house to house (נגע, also touch, contagion) in 2 Chronicles 3. Now I see that the exception named with respect to the squab of a dove is phrased three different ways in Leviticus. In this chapter, verses 7 and 11, and in chapter 12 verse 8.

In each case the music of the exception is distinct
Leviticus 5:7
And if he has not joined to his hand enough for a lamb
Leviticus 5:11

Leviticus 12:8
And if she does not find in her hand enough for a lamb
Leviticus 5 Fn Min Max Syll
1 And if anyone sins and hears the voice of imprecation and is a witness or sees or knows,
if he will not tell, then he will bear his iniquity.

2 B Or anyone who touches any thing unclean, whether the corpse of an unclean animal or the corpse of unclean cattle or the corpses of unclean teeming things,
and it is obscured from him, he also is unclean and will bear guilt.

13

3 B Or if he touches the uncleanness of a human, of any of its uncleanness that make it unclean,
and it is obscured from him, but he knows, and will bear guilt.

13
4 B Or anyone that makes an oath speaking rashly with lips to do evil or to do good, anything that the human would speak rashly to swear,
and it is obscured from him, but he knows, and will bear guilt for one from these.
3c 4B 39
13
5 And it will be that when he offends by one from these,
that he will confess that he has sinned over it.
3e 4B 12
11
6 And he will bring his guilt offering to Yahweh concerning his sin that he sinned, a female from the flock, a young lamb or a kid of the she-goats for a sin offering,
and the priest will make a cover-price for him over his sin.
3d 4B 34
12
7 And if he has not joined to his hand enough for a lamb, then he will bring for his offense that he has sinned two turtledoves or two squab of a dove to Yahweh,
one for a sin offering and one for a burnt offering.
3d 4B 32
11
8 And he will bring them to the priest, and he will bring near that which is for a sin offering first,
and wring off its head from the forefront of its scruff and he will not differentiate.
3c 4C 21
14
9 And he will spatter from the blood of the sin offering on the sidewall of the altar, and the residue of the blood he will press out on the foundation of the altar.
A sin offering it is.
3e 4C 30
3
10 And the second he will do as a burnt offering according to the framework,
and the priest will make a cover-price for him over his sin that he sinned, and it will be forgiven him.
3c 4A 13
20
11 And if his hand will not afford two turtledoves or two squab of a dove, then the one who sinned will bring his oblation, the tenth of the ephah of fine flour for a sin offering.
He will not put oil on it and he will not give it with frankincense, for it is a sin offering.
3c 4C 39
20
12 And he will bring it to the priest and the priest will extract from it his full extract for its memorial, and will make it burn with smoke toward the altar on the offerings by fire of Yahweh.
A sin offering it is.
3e 4B 38
3
13 And the priest will make a cover-price for him concerning his sin that he sinned from one of these, and it will be forgiven him.
And it is for the priest as a gift.
