I have made some adjustments to chapter 1 - notably - ascend cannot stand as a gloss since the morning coming up in 4:7 is a frame for the whole story. So also is child. I just discovered this pdf - looks lovely. Brilliant in fact - and exactly the kind of transparency I have been searching for in my own work.
