Proverbs 11

Very short cryptic verses. Who will say they know the meaning of a proverb? The music divides the text. What can be made of the patterns in the music relating to both adjacent verses and to the set that is collected in this chapter?

Proverbs 11 Fn Min Max Syll
1 Balance through deceit, an abomination to Yahweh,
but a stone of full payment, his bidding.
3e 4B 9
9
2 Come presumption, and will come disgrace,
but with modesty, wisdom.
3e 4B 8
7
3 The completeness of the upright, their guide,
but the undermining of the treacherous will devastate them.
3e 4B 7
8

but righteousness delivers from death.
3e 4B 7
8

but in his wickedness, one who is wicked will fall.
3e 4B 9
8

but in calamities, the treacherous will be caught.
3e 4B 8
9
7 When a wicked earthling dies, expectation will perish,
and the hope of the mischievous perishes.
3e 4C 10
9
8 g A righteous one from trouble is rescued,
and wickedness will come instead of it.
3e 4B 8
7

but in knowledge, the righteous will be rescued.
3e 4B 9
10
10 In the goodness of the righteous, a town is elated,
and in the perishing of the wicked, a loud shout.
3e 4B 10
9
11 In the blessing of the upright, a town contributes,
but in the mouth of the wicked, it is overthrown.
3e 4B 10
8
12 One who is contemptuous to its associate is lacking in heart,
but a person of understanding will be silent.
3e 4B 8
8
13 A travelling merchant uncovers intimacy,
but a faithful wind covers a thing.
3e 4B 8
11
14 Without margins, a people will fall,
but there is safety in much consultation.

but hating guarantees is an act of trust.
3e 4B 7
8
16 A woman of graciousness maintains glory,
and ruthless men maintain riches.
3e 4B 7
8
17 Each showing mercy matures integrity,
but one who is vicious agitates its physical power.
3e 4B 7
9

but sowing righteousness earns truth.
3e 4B 9
11
19 So righteousness is for life,
and the pursuit of evil is for its death.
