This is only a day later, but you might notice that the
US stats have now moved up to the top 7, surpassing
S. Korea which now seems to be on the downward part of the curve.
The death rate is 4% for China. They are definitely on the downward curve but not past the danger of resurgence. If they had 80K infections, that is a minuscule proportion of their people (56 cases per million). If Canada and the US have such a multiplier, then the number of cases should top at about 2,000 and 20,000 respectively. This remains to be seen.
Peaks in measuring the % new may happen because more tests have become available. E.g. Turkey below.
