Just to highlight a new book by NT Wright - here is a note about it by David Koyzis. I have not read much Wright but Diana was impressed by his scholarship while we were in St Andrews at the International SBL meeting last July. I have read a bit since. He is prolific. So I won't necessarily read his book on the Psalms - but as David says: read the Psalms. Not once, but regularly for the rest of the journey. And prepare to be changed.
But - is this desirable? to be changed? Um - yes. In the psalms - face to face. No more second hand God as Buckminster-Fuller once wrote. (Of some books I only remember the title - a worthy tweet.)
