I see that the descending triad B g e survived the comparison with the Aleppo codex in verse 17. Where, I wonder, is the earlier copy of this text? I wonder if there was one such as I am presenting here - consonants and cantillation without vowels.
Note the almost attacca beginning. This psalm is sometimes presented with the previous psalm as a single psalm. As observed in 116 the three psalms belong together. The exodus journey belongs both to the people and also to the individual. No one can say, we did this ourselves.
