2 Give ear O God to my prayer, and do not obscure yourself from my supplication. (1-4-1)
ב האז֣ינה א֭להים תפלת֑י ואל־ת֝תעל֗ם מתחנתֽי	11 9		b hazinh alohim tpilti val-ttylm mtkinti
3 Attend to me and answer me. I am restless in my pondering and discomfited. (1-4-1)
ג הקש֣יבה ל֣י וענ֑ני אר֖יד בשיח֣י ואהֽימה	8 9		g hqwibh li vynni arid bwiki vahimh
4 From the voice of an enemy, from the presence of the pressure of a wicked one, for they slip mischief upon me and in anger they oppose me. (1-4-1)
ד מק֤ול אוי֗ב מפנ֣י עק֣ת רש֑ע כי־ימ֥יטו על֥י א֝֗ון ובא֥ף ישטמֽוני	10 13		d mqol aoib mpni yqt rwy ci-imiTu ylii avvn ubaf iwTmuni
5 ♪g My heart is in turmoil within me, and the horrors of death fall upon me. (g-1-4-1)
ה ל֭בי יח֣יל בקרב֑י ואימ֥ות מ֝֗ות נפל֥ו עלֽי	7 9		h libi ikil bqrbi vaimot mvvt nplu ylii
6 Fear and trembling come upon me, and tremors cover me. (1-4-1)
ו ירא֣ה ו֭רעד י֣בא ב֑י ו֝תכס֗ני פלצֽות	8 7		v irah vryd iboa bi vtcsni plxut
7 And I said, Who will give me a pinion like a dove, that I may fly away and find a roost. (1-1)
ז ואמ֗ר מֽי־יתן־ל֣י א֭בר כיונ֗ה אע֥ופה ואשכֽנה	18		z vaomr mi-iitn-li abr cionh ayuph vawconh
8 ♪g Then far off would I flee, and bide my time in the wilderness. Selah. (g-1-4-1)
ח ה֭נה ארח֣יק נד֑ד אל֖ין במדב֣ר סֽלה	6 7		k hnh arkiq ndod alin bmdbr slh
9 I would hurry to my security, from a storming wind and tempest. (1-4-1)
ט אח֣ישה מפל֣ט ל֑י מר֖וח סע֣ה מסֽער	6 8		T akiwh mplT li mruk soyh msyr
10 Swallow up, my Lord, entangle their tongue, for I have seen violence and contention in the city. (1-4-1)
י בל֣ע א֭דני פל֣ג לשונ֑ם כֽי־רא֨יתי חמ֖ס ור֣יב בעֽיר	10 9		i bly adonii plg lwonm ci-raiti kms vrib byir
11 Day and night they surround her upon her ramparts, and mischief and toil are within her. (1-4-1)
יא יומ֤ם ול֗ילה יסובב֥ה על־חומת֑יה וא֖ון ועמ֣ל בקרבֽה	14 9		ia iomm vlilh isobbuh yl-komotih vavvn vyml bqrbh
12 Calamities are within her, and unfeeling from her plazas are fraud and deceit. (1-4-1)
יב הו֥ות בקרב֑ה וֽלא־ימ֥יש מ֝רחב֗ה ת֣ך ומרמֽה	5 10		ib hvot bqrbh vla-imiw mrkobh toç umrmh
13 ♪C For no enemy is reproaching me or I would bear it, nor someone hating me over me magnifying himself, or I would hide from him, (C-1-2-4-1)
יג כ֤י לֽא־אוי֥ב יחֽרפ֗ני וא֫ש֥א לא־מ֭שנאי על֣י הגד֑יל ואסת֥ר ממֽנו	10 8 7		ig ci la-aoib ikrpni vawa la-mwnai ylii hgdil vaistr mmnu
14 but you, mortal, as one arranged for me, my captain, and known to me. (1-4-1)
יד ואת֣ה אנ֣וש כערכ֑י א֝לופ֗י ומידֽעי	8 7		id vath anow cyrci alupi umiudyi
15 Together we had sweet intimacy. In the house of God we walked in the throng. (1-4-1)
טו אש֣ר י֭חדו נמת֣יק ס֑וד בב֥ית א֝לה֗ים נהל֥ך ברֽגש	7 11		Tv awr ikdiv nmtiq sod bbit alohim nhlç brgw
16 Let death lure them. Let them descend alive to the grave, for the evils in their hospitality within them. (1-4-1)
טז יש֤י מ֨ות על֗ימו ירד֣ו שא֣ול חי֑ים כֽי־רע֖ות במגור֣ם בקרבֽם	13 8		Tz iwia mvvt ylimo iirdu waol kiim ci-ryot bmgurm bqrbm
17 ♪g As for me, upon God I will call, and Yahweh will save me. (g-1-4-1)
יז א֭ני אל־אלה֣ים אקר֑א ו֝יהו֗ה יושיעֽני	8 6		iz ani al-alohim aqra vihvh iowiyni
18 ♪C Evening and morning and middays I will ponder and murmur, and he will hear my voice. (C-1-4-1)
יח ע֤רב וב֣קר ו֭צהרים אש֣יחה ואהמ֑ה וישמ֥ע קולֽי	16 5		ik yrb vboqr vxohriim awikh vahmh viwmy qoli
19 ♪~ He has ransomed my being in peace from my close combat, because of the many that are with me. (~1-4-1)
יט פ֘ד֤ה בשל֣ום נ֭פשי מקרב־ל֑י כֽי־ב֝רב֗ים הי֥ו עמדֽי	11 9		iT pdh bwlom npwi mqrb-li ci-brbim hiu yimdi
20 God will hear and will answer them and the one sitting of old, Selah, that there is no renewal for them, and they do not fear God. (1-4-1)
כ ישמ֤ע א֨ל וֽיענם֮ וי֤ש֥ב ק֗דם ס֥לה אש֤ר א֣ין חליפ֣ות ל֑מו ול֖א ירא֣ו אלהֽים	22 7		c iwmy al viynm viowb qdm slh awr ain klipot lmo vla irau alohim
21 He extended his hands against those at peace with him. He has profaned his covenant. (1-1)

22 Smoother than clotted cream his mouth but close combat in his heart, his mollifying words oily, but they were swords unsheathed. (1-2-1)
כב חלק֤ו מחמא֣ת פיו֮ וֽקרב־ל֫ב֥ו רכ֖ו דבר֥יו מש֗מן וה֣מה פתחֽות	11 14		cb klqu mkmaot piv uqrb-libo rcu dbriv mwmn vhmh ptikot
23 Cast your care on Yahweh and he himself will nourish you. He will never let a righteous one be moved. (1-2-1)
כג השל֤ך על־יהו֨ה יהבך֮ וה֪וא יכ֫לכל֥ך לא־ית֖ן לעול֥ם מ֗וט לצדֽיק	15 9		cg hwlç yl-ihvh ihbç vhua iclclç la-iitn lyolm moT lxdiq
24 But you, O God, will make them descend to the well of destruction. Persons of blood and deceit will not reach half their days. But as for me, I will trust in you. (1-4-1)
