2 Waiting I await Yahweh, and he bent to me, and he heard my cry. (1-4-1)
ב קו֣ה קו֣יתי יהו֑ה וי֥ט א֝ל֗י וישמ֥ע שועתֽי	7 10		b qvoh qivviti ihvh viT alii viwmy wvvyti
3 He brought me up from a noisy pit, from wine-soaked muck, and placed my feet on a cliff, establishing my steps. (1-2-1)
ג ויעל֤ני מב֥ור שאון֮ מט֪יט הי֫ו֥ן וי֖קם על־ס֥לע רגל֗י כונ֥ן אשרֽי	14 13		g viylni mbor waon mTiT hivvn viqm yl-sly rglii conn awurii
4 And he gave my mouth a new song, praise to our God. Many will see and will fear, and will trust in Yahweh. (1-2-4-1)
ד וית֬ן בפ֨י ש֥יר חדש֮ תהל֪ה לֽאל֫ה֥ינו ירא֣ו רב֣ים וייר֑או ו֝יבטח֗ו ביהוֽה	15 8 6		d viitn bpi wir kdw thilh lalohinu irau rbim viirau vibTku bihvh
5 ♪f Happy the valiant who sets up Yahweh as his trust, and does not save face with the defiant, falling away to a lie. (~1-4-1)
ה א֥שֽרי הג֗בר אשר־ש֣ם י֭הוה מבטח֑ו וֽלא־פנ֥ה אל־ר֝הב֗ים ושט֥י כזֽב	14 12		h awri hgbr awr-wm ihvh mbTko vla-pnh al-rhbim vwTi czb
6 Many things you have done, you Yahweh, my God, your wonders and your devices for us. (There is nothing to arrange for you.) I will announce them and I will speak. They are too numerous to count. (1-2-4-1)

7 ♪C In offering and gift you did not delight. Ears you have dug for me. Burnt offering and sin offering you did not require. (C-1-4-1)

8 ♪B Then I said, Here I come. In the scroll of the record is inscribed of me: (B-1-4-1)
ח א֣ז א֭מרתי הנה־ב֑אתי במגלת־ס֝֗פר כת֥וב עלֽי	8 9		k az amrti hnh-bati bmgilt-spr ctub ylii
9 To do your bidding, my God, I delighted, and your instruction is in the midst of my inner parts. (1-4-1)
ט לֽעשֽות־רצונך֣ אלה֣י חפ֑צתי ו֝ת֥ורתך֗ בת֣וך מעֽי	12 8		T lywot-rxonç alohii kpxti vtortç btoç myii
10 I have published righteousness in the congregation of the many. Here my lips I did not restrain, Yahweh you, you know. (1-4-1)
י בש֤רתי צ֨דק בק֘ה֤ל ר֗ב הנ֣ה ש֭פתי ל֣א אכל֑א י֝הו֗ה את֥ה ידֽעת	17 7		i biwrti xdq bqhl rb hnh wptii la acla ihvh ath idyt
11 Your righteousness I did not cover within my heart. Of your faithfulness and your salvation I have talked. I have not concealed your mercy and your truth in the congregation of the many. (1-4-1)
יא צדקתך֬ לא־כס֨יתי בת֬וך לב֗י אמונתך֣ ותשועתך֣ אמ֑רתי לא־כח֥דתי חסדך֥ ו֝אמתך֗ לקה֥ל רֽב	21 14		ia xdqtç la-cisiti btoç libi amuntç utwuytç amrti la-cikdti ksdç vamitç lqhl rb
12 You Yahweh do not restrain your compassions from me. Your mercy and your truth continually preserve me. (1-4-1)
יב את֤ה יהו֗ה לא־תכל֣א רחמ֣יך ממ֑ני חסדך֥ ו֝אמתך֗ תמ֥יד יצרֽוני	14 12		ib ath ihvh la-tcla rkmiç mmni ksdç vamitç tmid iixruni
13 ♪C For evils enveloped me without count. My iniquities, they overtook me and I could not see. Numerous as the hairs of my head, so my heart forsakes me. (C-1-4-1)
יג כ֤י אפפ֥ו־על֨י רע֡ות עד־א֬ין מספ֗ר השיג֣וני ע֭ונתי ולא־יכ֣לתי לרא֑ות עצמ֥ו משֽער֥ות ר֝אש֗י ולב֥י עזבֽני	24 15		ig ci appu-ylii ryot yd-ain mspr hwiguni yvonotii vla-icolti lraot yxmu mwyrot rawi vlibi yzbni
14 Let it be acceptable, Yahweh, to deliver me. Yahweh, to my help, hurry. (1-4-1)
יד רצ֣ה י֭הוה להציל֑ני י֝הו֗ה לעזר֥תי חֽושה	9 8		id rxh ihvh lhxilni ihvh lyzrti kuwh
15 ♪~ Let them be ashamed and disappointed together who seek my being to snatch it away. Let them be repulsed and be humiliated, who delight in my hurt. (~1-2-4-1)
טו י֘ב֤שו ויחפר֨ו יחד֮ מבקש֥י נפש֗י לספ֫ות֥ה יס֣גו א֭חור ויכלמ֑ו ח֝פצ֗י רעתֽי	17 9 6		Tv ibowu vikpru ikd mbqwi npwi lspoth iisogu akor viiclmu kpxi ryti
16 ♪g Let them be desolate foot firmly planted in their shame, those saying to me, Aha! aha! (g-1-4-1)
טז י֭שמו על־ע֣קב בשת֑ם האמר֥ים ל֝֗י ה֘א֥ח האֽח	8 8		Tz iwomu yl-yqb bowtm haomrim li hak hak
17 ♪~ Let all those who seek you joy and let them be glad in you. Let them say continually, Great is Yahweh, those who love your salvation. (~1-2-4-1)
יז י֘ש֤ישו וישמח֨ו בך֗ כֽל־מב֫קש֥יך יאמר֣ו ת֭מיד יגד֣ל יהו֑ה אֽ֝הב֗י תשועתֽך	14 8 8		iz iwiwu viwmku bç cl-mbqwiç iamru tmid igdl ihvh aohbi twuytç
18 But poor am I and needy. My Lord devises for me. You are my helper and the one who secures me, my God, do not delay. (1-2-4-1)
