2 when Nathan the prophet came to him, as he had come to Bathsheva. (1-4-1)
ב בֽבוא־א֭ליו נת֣ן הנב֑יא כֽאשר־ב֝֗א אל־בת־שֽבע	9 8		b bboa-aliv ntn hnbia cawr-ba al-bt-wby
3 Be gracious to me, O God according to your kindness. In the multitude of your compassions, wipe out my transgression. (1-4-1)
ג חנ֣ני אלה֣ים כחסד֑ך כר֥ב ר֝חמ֗יך מח֣ה פשעֽי	10 11		g konni alohim cksdç crob rkmiç mkh pwyii
4 ♪g Thoroughly scour me from my iniquity, and from my sin cleanse me. (g-1-4-1)

5 For my transgression I, I know, and my sin is continually in front of me. (1-4-1)
ה כֽי־פ֭שעי אנ֣י אד֑ע וחטאת֖י נגד֣י תמֽיד	8 8		h ci-pwyii ani ady vkTati ngdi tmid
6 Against you, you only, I have sinned and this evil in your eyes I have done, so you are right when you speak. You are clear when you judge. (1-2-1)

7 Lo, in iniquity I was birthed, and in sin my mother conceived me. (1-4-1)
ז הן־בעו֥ון חול֑לתי ו֝בח֗טא יחמ֥תני אמֽי	7 8		z hn-byvon kollti ubkTa ikmtni aimi
8 Lo, you delight in truth in the inward parts, and in discreet wisdom, you make me know. (1-4-1)
ח הן־א֭מת חפ֣צת בטח֑ות ו֝בסת֗ם חכמ֥ה תודיעֽני	9 9		k hn-amt kpxt bTukot ubstum kcmh todiyni
9 You will make a sin offering of me with hyssop and I will be clean. You will scour me and I will be white as snow. (1-4-1)
ט תחטא֣ני באז֣וב ואטה֑ר ת֝כבס֗ני ומש֥לג אלבֽין	10 10		T tkTani baizob vaThr tcbsni umwlg albin
10 ♪g Make me to hear joy and mirth. Rejoice the bones you have crushed. (g-1-4-1)

11 Hide your face from my sin, and all my iniquity, wipe out. (1-4-1)
יא הסת֣ר פ֭ניך מחטא֑י וֽכל־עו֖נת֣י מחֽה	9 8		ia hstr pniç mkTaii vcl-yvonotii mkh
12 ♪B A clean heart create of me, O God, and a prepared spirit, make new within me. (B-1-4-1)
יב ל֣ב ט֭הור ברא־ל֣י אלה֑ים ור֥וח נ֝כ֗ון חד֥ש בקרבֽי	9 10		ib lb Thor bra-li alohim vruk ncon kdw bqrbi
13 Do not cast me from your presence, and your holy spirit do not take from me. (1-4-1)
יג אל־תשליכ֥ני מלפנ֑יך ור֥וח ק֝דשך֗ אל־תק֥ח ממֽני	9 12		ig al-twlicni mlpniç vruk qodwç al-tiqk mmni
14 Return to me the joy of your salvation, and in a willing spirit, support me. (1-4-1)
יד הש֣יבה ל֭י שש֣ון ישע֑ך ור֖וח נדיב֣ה תסמכֽני	9 10		id hwibh li wwon iwyç vruk ndibh tsmcni
15 I will teach transgressors your ways, and sinners to you will be turned. (1-4-1)
טו אלמד֣ה פשע֣ים דרכ֑יך ו֝חטא֗ים אל֥יך ישֽובו	9 10		Tv almdh powyim drciç vkTaim aliç iwubu
16 Deliver me from the guilt of shed blood, O God, the God of my salvation. My tongue will shout for joy at your righteousness. (1-4-1)

17 ♪g My Lord, my lips you will open, and my mouth will make evident your praises. (g-1-4-1)
יז א֭דני שפת֣י תפת֑ח ו֝פ֗י יג֥יד תהלתֽך	8 9		iz adonii wptii tptk upi igid thilotiç
18 ♪C For you do not delight in an offering or else I would give it. Burnt offering you will not accept. (C-1-4-1)
יח כ֤י לא־תחפ֣ץ ז֣בח ואת֑נה ע֝ול֗ה ל֣א תרצֽה	10 5		ik ci la-tkpox zbk vatnh yolh la trxh
19 ♪f The offerings of God are a broken spirit. A heart broken and crushed, O God, you will not despise. (~1-2-4-1)

20 Do well in your acceptance of Zion. You will build the ramparts of Jerusalem. (1-4-1)

21 ♪C Then you will delight in offerings of righteousness, burnt offering and whole offering. Then they will offer up young bulls on your altar. (C-1-4-1)
