The first mention of violence in Genesis.
| וַתִּשָּׁחֵ֥ת הָאָ֖רֶץ לִפְנֵ֣י הָֽאֱלֹהִ֑ים וַתִּמָּלֵ֥א הָאָ֖רֶץ חָמָֽס |
11 And impaired was the earth in the face of this God, and the land was filled with violence. | |

Note the word kms - in Hebrew חמס Hamas. A coincidence? I see that some have already invoked the flood metaphorically.
