Lent 21

Here we are on the second half of Lent. And there is no poem!!! But rather a story and a correction.

What does it mean to be bound? As in the phrase "I am bound, so far as it is in my power, to practice what I pray for".

My first thought is that what we practice reveals what we pray for. (Herbert does have an escape clause in his story.)
