Henry at Energion has a summary of my path toward the music embedded in the text of the Hebrew Bible. My friends are still shocked by this revelation. Who could believe that our abstract approach to the Bible - getting the words 'right' could give way to a recording of the voice of God from ancient times - getting the tone of voice in tune with the character that defines graciousness.
