Here's the Biblical Studies carnival for last month.
I still keep my hand in but my head is in the music - a wholly different way of hearing the ancient words. Not an abstraction, but learning to hear tone of voice, a slow process. It is an area I can still learn in. Now after 6 months of trying to compose with these tropes, I am listening to all music with a different ear. My hearing is becoming easier to see (ha!).
