Memories

Uncle Ted, died at Vimy Ridge - just over 100 years ago
This is from a reminder present from son, Jeremy, who got us to go and visit the grave in 2004.

The inscription in the official record:
BROWN, Lieutenant, FREDERICK RUYTER, M M, 29th Bn. Canadian Infantry (British Columbia Regt.). Died of wounds, received at Vimy Ridge, 10th April 1917. Age 25. Son of John Ruyter Brown and Luella B. Brown, of Vancouver, British Columbia. I. H. 74.
