Proverbs 27

Verse 2, and verse 10, I have known. Perhaps verse 4, but it is indeterminate as to who is the subject. We just saw the synonym backbone in the Levitical rites, so it appears here. For the record, several changes (11) outside this chapter, all triggered by questions raised within the chapter, as these new pieces of the puzzle are embedded in the whole.  Read verse 5 and let me know your questions.

but who can stand facing jealousy?

but special pleading, the kisses of hate.
3e 4B 8
9

10 Your friend and your parent's friend, you will not forsake. Let not your kin enter in the day of your misfortune.
Better a neighbour near, than distant kin.
