The text requires a book length blog post but I will spare you. I am sure resonances will emerge as you read. The you is generally feminine singular in this text. You can tell where it is not. The whole history of Israel and indeed Christendom can be seen in this chapter.
I decided to do this since it was long and way down my list - well below 40% if I remember. The reason it was down my list was not that the roots were unfamiliar, but that the form of their usage was unique, so the software had a lot that it could not guess. The uniqueness was both in the feminine forms and also in the usage of mater lectiones in this prophet's writing. These extra letters to help the reader are not as common as the simpler spelling. I hope doing this chapter will have salted the Ezekiel data so that later chapters will be easier.
In your blood, live. This astonishing repeated phrase. See the book Covenant of Blood, by Lawrence Hoffman. The question of sin, incarnation and redemption is dealt with in this chapter.
I note that the meditation on the cover-price in verse 63 is on the rest note. The subdominant is a suitable note for such faithful reflection on the cult and its reflection of covenant and cost. The prophet demonstrates his knowledge of tradition from the exile.
From now on, Bob's Bible can be called the uh-oh bible. That interjection occurs twice in the Hebrew. I am guessing it is of Aramaic origin. It seems too important this little word, to pass over quickly.
