אַֽל־תִּ֭תְהַלֵּל בְּי֣וֹם מָחָ֑ר כִּ֤י לֹא־תֵ֝דַ֗ע מַה־יֵּ֥לֶד יֽוֹם | 1 | Do not boast in the day that follows, for you do not know what a day will beget. | 8 7 |
יְהַלֶּלְךָ֣ זָ֣ר וְלֹא־פִ֑יךָ נָ֝כְרִ֗י וְאַל־שְׂפָתֶֽיךָ | 2 | Let a stranger praise you and not your mouth, a foreigner and not your lips. | 8 8 |
כֹּֽבֶד־אֶ֭בֶן וְנֵ֣טֶל הַח֑וֹל וְכַ֥עַס אֱ֝וִ֗יל כָּבֵ֥ד מִשְּׁנֵיהֶֽם | 3 | Heavy a stone and tolerable the sand but obstinate grief, heavier than both of them. | 9 10 |

Remind me
A proverb or two a day. I should have learned verse 2 but I didn't. Verse 3 does not translate as KJV has it. The translator must have just been insulted by someone.
